Done!!!!!!!!!

At the end of my sophomore year of high school, a little over 5 years ago, I got my first ever job at Papa Murphys and this past Monday I finally quit!
When I started out it was really fun. I worked with a lot of cool people but I figured I would only ever really be there for a year or at the most two. As time went on some of the other people left and new people came in. It was really weird for me to no longer be the slowest and newest person on the crew. I didn't think I'd been there for too long yet though and so I figured I would just stay on and I could learn to work with the newbies. That was all a lot of fun. My co-workers would continue to quit as new and better things came into their lives, but there was a few instances when some of them came back and it was a lot of fun. However, the day that one of the people quit, I knew I should probably do the same.
As I'm sure you guessed though I didn't. At that point I had started college and I needed a job that had flexible hours because of the schedule I had, and so I made the decision to stay on. As I've been in college it's been great to have a job where I can work the hours that I've wanted/needed to. In fact it was a major blessing at times. Just at the beginning of this year I made the decision to go on a mission. And so now that the time has come for me to leave, I obviously had to leave the job too. While it was a great job to have while in college, I don't think I'll go back after I get home. I need to get a real job, and get some experience elsewhere. So I can very happily say at this point that I am done with Papa Murphys!:D

Let the Countdown Begin

I'm officially ready to start my countdown. In 39 days I enter the MTC to prepare to leave for France for a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm pretty excited for this next chapter/adventure in my life.

New (sort of) Hobby

So today I discovered something new that I enjoy doing. It is randomly enough, mowing the lawn. Since I have four brothers it's something I've never really personally had to do. I did it a time or two when I was younger but it never really got too far before I gave up. So today I decided that I need to mow the lawn. I started doing the front yard and saw that my lines weren't very straight so I fired myself and let my brother finish. After he finished though I decided that I would do the back yard. It was quite the work out and I really enjoyed doing it. The lines aren't very straight but I think I did pretty good for a first timer. I may even do it again before the summer's over!

All You Need is Love

So this may seem really random but that's okay because it pretty much is. One day when I was closing at work we decided to start playing love songs after dark on FM100. We discovered though that it was a bad idea to start playing them before we actually closed. Right after we started playing them, customers started coming in like crazy. Not just any people, pretty much everyone that came in was male. It was a little freakish. We didn't really know what to think. But yeah, think what you will but that's that.

Gratitude

So I've decided that I have a lot to be grateful for. I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends, I couldn't ask for better. I am also very grateful for the opportunity that I have to get an education. Along with that I get the the opportunity to go institute which is AMAZING! I have had wonderful teachers that always seem to teach what I need to learn. I love that about the gospel. The Lord is aware of each of our needs and he will put the people in our lives that we need to help us, and will also put us in the lives of those that we need to help. I am so grateful for all of that.

Creepy Old People

So there has been something on my mind that I have felt like ranting about for a while now, and I am now finally doing so. As I go on vacations to places outside of Utah during the summer, I have noticed something that is majorly disturbing. For some reason old people feel like they have the need to wear tank tops. This just really grosses me out because most of the old people that are wearing the tank tops have been wearing them their whole lives and as such have really nasty skin, yet they still feel the desire to show that off which is nasty in and of itself. Then there is also the problem that women in particular have relief society arms. Relief Society arms+nasty skin= GAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That really should not be allowed. Then old men just have nasty arms and a lot of times they have hair hanging out of their pits which really just makes me want to barf! In conclusion old people should just be banned from wearing tank-tops. Sorry it's grammatically incorrect but, I don't care I just felt the desire to rant.
