It's Autumn Time

I absolutely love fall time!!!! It is hands down my favorite season of the year. Here are a few reasons why:
  • The weather starts cooling down. I realize that most people hate it when this happens, but I love it because that means I get to whip out all of my blankets and sleep in my nice warm bed. It's pretty much the most heavenly thing ever.
  • The leaves start changing colors. There is nothing more beautiful to me than seeing all the beautiful colors of fall all around me. It makes me so happy.
  • Then there's also the plus that it's my birthday!!! And this year it's a BIG one. I turn 21. I'm not too sure how I feel about that because it means I have to make some big decisions quick, but it also means a lot more freedom. I can be treated as a full fledged adult and the part I'm most excited about, I can buy alcohol.
  • Thanksgiving time!!!!!! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays if not my favorite. It's up there with Christmas but it might be ahead. Thanksgiving is always a lot of fun. My family usually does a few things together but the best part is when we get together with the extended family at Grandma and Grandpa Olpin's. My family has to be the best family ever. There is always the best food and good memories made.
There are a few more random reasons that fall makes me happy, but those are the main reasons. I'm so happy I love this time of year!!!!!!!!!!!

Life

So it's been a while since I've done this but I'm horrible at writing in my journal so why shouldn't I be horrible at this. Life has been rather eventful since my last post. However, I am just going to talk about my school schedule for this semester.

This semester is my last semester of generals which for most people is a good thing but for me: not so much. As I am about the most indecisive person on this planet I have not yet chosen a major and after this semester is over I can't really stall any longer and really need to choose. Since only one of my classes is a GE requirement I have 3 elective classes to get my 12 credits in.

I am taking Ethics and Values which is required and probably the most worthless class on the face of the planet. Then I'm also taking college success which is a class with a bunch of freshman learning how to adjust to college life but I think it will be good for me anyway, stress management because I want to learn better ways to cope with stressful situations in my life and also I am taking 7 habits of highly effective people which I think will be really good for me. Then I am also taking 2 institute classes which so far have been amazing. Hopefully all this will pay off and I will be able to choose a major at the end of this semester and be able to move on with my life instead of being stuck in limbo as far as school goes.

Wedding
So yesterday my older brother Joey got married for time and all eternity in the Mt Timpanogas Temple. It was really super weird and I am still trying to get used to the idea. But I am still excited for him. Along with the marriage I got a sister. This is something that I have waited for my whole life so I am very excited. In fact when my youngest two little brothers were born I wanted to throw them in the trash can since they weren't girls. That's how bad I've wanted a sister. I knew the only way I would get one was through marriage so now that it has happened I'm super excited. Yay for Jennifer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life
Well it's been awhile. Life has been crazy since my last post. But I have also been amazingly blessed since then so it's all good. Starting with the engagement of my older brother. The day before Thanksgiving my older brother got engaged and his wedding is this saturday. Watching all of the wedding plans come together has given me a testimony of eternal families. I'm so grateful that since my parents were married and sealed in the temple our family can be forever. I wouldn't want to be without any of them.

Another thing that has happened is I have gained a major testimony of the institute program. I was on the brink of failing my math class. It is definitely a miracle that I did pass. I had a C going into the final exam. I know the only reason that I passed the class is because I attended institute. If i wouldn't then the promise from the prophet would not have pulled through and I would not have passed. Truly amazing! I am so grateful for institute and all that it has done for me and especially for the gospel in my life. It has shaped me into who I am.
