Every day you walk around and hear people talking about how they need to lose weight so that they can fit into society. The crazy thing about that is, around thanksgiving time it's those same people who are so excited to eat. Why is it that all year people are so conscious about their weight and then, that one day a year they indulge in a meal that that will knock them off the scales? I can only come up with one reason. They do it because they're hungry and need to get some nutrients into their bodies. All year they think that they're helping their bodies by eating as little as they can to survive and then when all of that food is placed in front of them, they can't help but indulge. If people just stop trying to lose weight, and stay happy the way they are, then we won't have that problem any more.

From the time that we are born we give people a certain amount of time before we let them know that we've had enough, and it's usually not very long. Why is that? Why do we have such short attention spans? I think that the main reason is because of the society that we live in. We live where we want things fast and we want them done fast. If we don't get it in that amount of time we get frustrated. So like when you are sitting in class or somebody is going overtime in church it gets annoying because we can think of so many other things that we could be doing or would rather be doing. So if our world would slow down our attentions spans might increase.

Why are some people so addicted to their music?
Every time I walk down the hallways at school I see at least two or three people listening to their ipods or some other music device. Then it's the same story all over again in class. It's like a horrible addiction that they can't break away from. I honestly don't get how they do it though, I mean I would go crazy listening to the same songs over and over again even if I really liked them. Sure it keeps you entertained but it is nothing but an addiction and a distraction.
It is also a big problem while driving. I can't even begin to count the number of stories I've heard and people I've seen almost get into an accident because of the music being too loud. It is such a distraction to go by a car that has their music up full blast. I when I have the radio on, I never have the music up very loud because I know what a distraction it will be to myself as well as other drivers. If you ever get into an accident because you music was on too loud and it distracted you from paying attention to the road you'll pretty much never forgive yourself for doing that. And to think it could almost all be prevented by people if they could just take the time to turn down the volume.

Why is it that the government and many other people complain about the obesity rate in America but they don't do anything to stop it? It is the most annoying thing to listen to people complain about it every week if not every day. One thing people aren't really paying attention to that is also happening, as obesity rates go up so do the hours that kids and teenagers spend doing homework. Yes, shall I repeat that, students are spending way to much time doing homework instead of physical activity. What's more perfect than watching television and eating chips while doing homework? It's depressing, but it's what this world is coming to. So if we are going to put a stop to obestiy rates we need to stop giving so much homework.
